São Paulo, September 4th 2019 – Marcelo Proença, global director of Compliance at JBS, and his team will be present on September 6th, at the Lins plant, to meet more than 30 administrative leaders. The goal is to qualify leaderships, ensuring that everyone knows and practices the Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.


During the meeting, examples of everyday situations and the respective expected behavior will be addressed, based on the company’s internal policies. Additionally, the attendees will have the opportunity to clarify their doubts. After the qualification, the leaderships will be responsible for disseminating the knowledge acquired to more than 5,700 employees from the plant.


“In 2017, we launched the program ‘Always Do What’s Right’. Since then, we have achieved solid results from a robust communication process, new internal controls, training sessions and measures that reinforce and value ethical attitudes on the everyday life. For this reason, this round of qualification on themes from the Code is very important,” says Proença.
